   REASON WHY PEOPLE DO RITUALS.

1) POWERS:power is so sweet that many people can do anything to get and retain it. A man in position of power attracts massive patronage to him or herself as everyone wants to identify with someone who has the power to help them. The kind of respect and authority that a powerful man commands are some of the reasons why some people will go to any extent to get it including taking to all kinds of ritualistic acts.
       Contest for powers in this part of the world are usually pursued in a dangerously wicked manner where people are willing to do just anything to acquire them, we live in a society where seekers of political powers are ready to used their fellow human beings for rituals, they engaged the services of some criminals whom they pay to kidnap and murder innocent people, they disguise as transporters and good Samaritans but ends up hypnotizing their victims whose heads and other vital parts of their body are removed. The desperation to grab political powers in our society has assumed a very dangerous dimension that politicians and aspiring politicians had to be initiated into the kingdom of darkness, some of them had to offer their children or siblings as sacrifice while some had to sleep in cemeteries and even had sex with mad people.
    The quest for powers in my opinion is born out of selfish interest and not to better the life anyone as evident in the way and manner some people desperately search for them take a trip to the various oceans and river sides in the deep of the night and you will see all kinds of satanic agents offering sacrifices to marine forces some of them even claimed to be servants of God who are in desperate search for spiritual powers to perform miracles and pull crowds. There are characters whose hunger and thirst for powers has led to the evil forest where they slept for many days and weeks offering sacrifices to the principalities and powers that controls the forest in exchange for spiritual powers.
      The dangerous and crazy quest for powers are not limited to political and spiritual powers but also for relevance and influence in the society,we can not pretend not to know that contest for kingship in this part of the world is highly diabolical to the extent that human blood are used for ritualistic purposes before, during and after coronation although there are suggestions that such practises may have been abolished long ago by many African societies, never the less, would be Kings are still required to perform all kinds of fetish rituals before ascending the throne.
