TYPES OF CURSES AND HOW THEY OPERATE.

2) PARENTAL CURSE.

      A parental curse is a negative pronouncement that can only come from one's biological parents, they place these curses out of anger when they are offended by their children and its so powerful that it can completely destroy the life of a man. As a young boy growing up in the village, I was told that a child must avoid those things that could attract curses from their parents as its always very difficult to redeem one's self from their effects.

      No matter what happens, one's parents can be likened to a small god and so extreme care must be taken when we disagree with them on any issue to avoid incurring their anger. Parents are the vehicles that God used in conveying us to the world and so after God, they remain the most important people in a man's life, their pronouncements be it negative or positive can go a long way in shaping the destiny of an individual.

    One of God's commandments to us as children is that we must honour our parents so as to attract the heavenly blessing of long life  and prosperity (Exodus 20 vs 12, Ephesians 6 vs 2-3). Anyone who intends to live long and prosper must do everything humanly possible to honour their parents even if they are bad and irresponsible just honour them as its not your duty to judge them. There's no religion or faith anywhere in the world  that encourages children to be rebellious against their parents as all of them teaches respects for one's parents and honour them in all circumstances.

     There was a certain local chief in my village whose children beats up at will, as a matter of fact, on a day I visited their neighbourhood, I saw him sit outside his house bleeding badly from the head after being brutalised by his first son. Troubled by what I saw, I narrated the whole episode to my mother who told me that the chief was merely reaping what he sowed as he also did the same to his parents, she told me that the man physically dealt with his parents to the point that his mother died after one of such beatings. Though the chief is no longer alive but the curse that was placed on him by his parents eventually destroyed him as his sons who desperately wanted to sell off the family land strangled him to death.

                       PRAYER POINTS.

1) Let every parental curses tormenting my destiny be destroyed.

2) Let every parental curses pursuing my life crash by fire.

3) Let every parental curses tormenting my foundation be destroyed.
