THE DESTRUCTIVE EFFECTS OF SATANIC COVENANTS(Part 1).

    A satanic covenant is an agreement between man and the kingdom of darkness backed by an oath sealed with either human or animal blood and other fetish items. These agreements if entered with the kingdom of darkness is strong and powerful and when violated can be destructive even unto many generations yet unborn, I pray that as we begin to examine these covenants one after the other, God will open our eyes to see where we need urgent deliverance in our lives.

     TYPES OF SATANIC COVENANTS AND                        HOW THEY OPERATE.

1) IDOLATRY COVENANT.

    Idolatry covenant is an agreement between man and the strange gods he worships, such covenants are often entered for the purpose of protection, victory in times of war, acquiring wealth, soliciting for children and so on. Our forefathers worshipped all kinds of idols and they made several commitments in form of pledges to these gods, though these pledges were largely kept in their lifetime but many generations after them failed to continue with the terms of the covenants either due to the advent of Christianity, civilization or ignorance of the existence of such a covenant.

      Idolatry covenant has grounded many lives and destinies and so many of us today are paying the price for such unholy agreements, I have heard people particularly Christians say that "we are not part of any agreement or covenant that our forefathers entered with strange gods, therefore, it cannot affect us in any way", I laugh because they are talking from the point of ignorance as satanic covenants can be direct or indirect meaning that it can be entered directly by anyone or indirectly on behalf of someone or group of people like a family. Remember the story of the son of the prophet whose creditors came to take away his two sons after he died because of the agreement he entered with them(2nd Kings 4 vs 1). These children if not for the intervention of God would have paid the price of a covenant they were not aware or part of.

       There are many people whose lives are being tormented by the powers of strange gods their forefathers worshipped, these powers of darkness takes over their lives and plays them around like football, what some of us may not know is that satanic covenants and curses works hand in hand as there are laid down curses for any violation of the covenant and this has dealt terribly with many lives and destinies.

      There were these men both of whom were from the same parents, they left their village in the East and relocated to Lagos, their father was the chief priest of a popular idol in their community, the existing covenant between that family and strange gods is that all the male children in that family will serve the gods. Although these men became born-again Christians in Lagos, they refused to go back to their village even after the death of their father. Years after they got married, none of them had a child and every prayer house they went to, the message remained the same that the covenant in their family as it concerns the idol they worship has vowed not to allow them have children except they return to serve it.

                   PRAYER POINTS.

1) I liberate my entire household from the strong hold of idolatry covenant.

2) I dislodge every idolatry covenant tormenting my household.

3) I burn to ashes every idolatry garment upon my life.
