RITUALISTS ON RAMPAGE(Part 3) Parental Roles.

        The dangerous and selfish destructive wind of ritual killings that are currently sweeping across our dear country should be a cause of concern for every well meaning parent considering the fact that majority of the characters involved in these despeakale acts are young people many of whom are teenagers who lives under the roof of their parents. Truth be told that not all the parents are not in support of their children's involvements in act of criminality of any kind but verily I say unto you that the poverty and hunger in the land has made it practically impossible for some indecent parents to caution their children, they care less about how they acquire their sudden wealth, they openly boast of their children's exploit as "yahoo yahoo" fraudsters.

      Dear parents, we are sitting on kegs of gunpowder and if we fail to act responsibly, these kegs of gunpowder may explode on our faces, we cannot close our eyes and pretend not to be aware of the looming danger in the land, we cannot continue to play the ostrich while our children are busy soiling their hands in ritual killings. If I may ask, that son of yours whom you know has no tangible means of livelihood but shows up with multimillion naira worth of cars, did you bother to ask how and where he got the money to buy such expensive cars? That daughter of yours who keeps bringing expensive gifts and money to you on daily basis, did you try to find out where she gets those items from and the background of the men who usually picks her up and brings her back home in high class cars?

      Some years ago, a certain greedy mother paid dearly for failing to play the role of a true mother, little did she know that the gifts and money her son was sending to her from the city were proceeds of rituals, every attempt by her husband to question their son's source of wealth was resisted by her as she accused him of being jealous of their son's breakthroughs but on one fateful day, disaster struck as the young man visited the village and requested for cassava flour that he will take back to the city, the materialistic mother pleaded with him to drive her to the farm in his car and while they were in the farm, the ritualist son killed her and cut off her head.
