PASTOR, CONGREGATION SCAMPERS FOR SAFETY AS MAD MAN STORMS CHURCH WITH MATCHETE.

  But for divine intervention, the pastor of a pentecostal church located in Ogun State Nigeria would have by now been singing with the angels in heaven after a mentally ill young man with a machete in his hand quietly walked into the church while prayers were ongoing, the incident threw the entire congregation who had gathered for their monthly night vigil into a state of confusion as everyone including the elderly Pastor scampered for safety.
    Chatting with an eyewitness who confessed to have escaped through one of the windows, he revealed that the incident occured shortly after the pastor instructed everyone including the church ushers to close their eyes, he comically dramatised how the pastor who was the only one that did not close his eyes sighted the mentally ill young man whose father's house is directly  facing the church as he approached the altar with a machete in his hand and sensing danger, the eyewitness disclosed that the Ibadan born Pastor without wasting time raised the alarm that saw worshippers struggle with one another in a bid to escape with some leaving different legs of their shoes, handbags, caps and bibles littering the floor of the Church

When I hear stories of Pastors who are always in the habit of running from pillar to post on accounts that their lives are under attack by witches and wizards, I laugh and at the same time weep for the church of God, is it not shameful that ministers of God who ought to be terrors to the kingdom of darkness are now the ones running from them? According to the scriptures, children are gifts or blessings from God but truth be told, the alarming rate of antisocial behaviours by the young people in our today's world leaves one wondering if parents truly appreciates or cherish such blessings.
