Wisdom remains the principal thing in life as it helps to remind one of when to start a thing and when to stop particularly when such thing poses extreme danger to one's existence but for Zigi, a diesel generator technician and a tenant in a twelve bedroom apartment located in the densily populated and crime riddled cable point area in Asaba Delta State Nigeria, wisdom perhaps travelled on the day he was born as his activities before the ugly incident that almost sent him to his early grave suggests so.
Speaking with a co-tenant of Zigi who pleaded not to be mentioned, it was gathered that the artisan who was well known by all in the compound for his sexual addiction hardly spent the night without the comfort of a sex worker whom he usually picks up from the different red zones in town including the popular traffic light junction where his workshop is located, the co-tenant who could not explain if Zigi's sexual addiction was motivated by any performance enhancing drugs disclosed that he and some other co-tenants had on many occasions rescued some distressed sex workers who could not withstand his fire power, in his words in street English, "Dat boi no dey tire for dat thing, even ashewo sef dey respect am".
Like they say, "Everyday is for the thief but one day is for the owner". Zigi on this fateful night was the thief and the sex worker he paid to spend the night with him was the owner, in the past, sex workers cried and begged to be allowed to go but this time the artisan was at the receiving end and if not for the timely intervention of his next door neighbor, perhaps, he would have on that night joined his ancestors.
Information reliably obtained from an insider source had it that all hell was let loose on Zigi when the Warri born sex worker he paid to take care of his needs later turned out to be a super charged sex machine whose services became too much for him to handle thereby leaving him with no option but to cry out for help, in the words of my source, "I was shocked when I heard Zigi for the first time plead with a sex worker that he was tired". The source disclosed that he and other tenants in the compound ran out of their rooms when they could no longer withstand Zigi's unending pleas of "Abeg Tina, I don tire, make I rest, I go die o".
When contacted a relative of Zigi who lives next street decried his cousin's sexual addiction, he concluded by tagging it satanic, in his words, "I was formerly putting up with Zigi but had to leave because of his every night trouble with sex workers". It was however disclosed that following his unending pleas to the sex worker for respite the room door was then forced open by his good Samaritan neighbors who rushed him outside and began to pour water on him.
