CHURCH ON FIRE AS REPENTANT PASTOR CONFESSES "I SLEPT WITH OVER TEN MARRIED WOMEN IN THIS CHURCH"

  Confession in all honesty is permitted by the good book but in doing so, extreme wisdom must be applied particularly on very sensitive matters capable of setting everywhere on fire just like the incident that recently happened somewhere in Markurdi Benue State Nigeria where the pastor of a new generation pentecostal church confessed before a fully packed church that he has been enjoying some free pleasurable ride on some church members wives, the shameful confession which some believed was a true sign of repentance turned sour the moment the pastor began to mention the names of the women.
      While chatting with multiple sources within and outside the church which is located in the densily populated area of the State's capital, it was reliably gathered that the pastor who had barely spent six months with the church was on a transfer from one of their branches in Jos Plateau State, when asked to explain how the pastor successfully slept with the women without a trace by their husbands, church members who pleaded not to be mentioned disclosed that the pastor simply took advantage of their poverty to lure them to his bed, in his words, "The poverty in this area of the town is terrible and so it was easy for the pastor to use charity as a decoy".
       Chatting further with another source who lives very close to the church, he described how the randy pastor narrowly escaped being killed by men believed to be the husbands of the disgraced women, in his words, "Just before the pastor completed his confessions, the already furious congregation immediately charged towards him and when he sensed that danger was knocking, he attempted to escape through one of the exit doors but he was apprehended and beaten silly but for the timely intervention of some community leaders, pastor would have joined his ancestors ". The shameful incident which led to the complete destruction of the church building, has now forced many men in the area to stop their wives from attending churches for fear of a repeat of the ugly incident.
