THE CONSEQUENCES OF PARENTAL FAILURE (PART 7)

As a parent, I must confess that I am extremely worried of the many antisocial behaviors of the young ones in our society, I am worried because its crystally clear that we may just be heading to a point of no return, things are already that bad but it can still be salvaged if parents decides to wake up from their slumbers and fix their homes. Many times, one is left to wonder if some of our parents truly understand their roles as character moulders and this is because it is said in the African society where I grew up that "A child public conduct is a reflection of how he or she was raised". Permit me to state that many of the antisocial behaviors being manifested by some of our young ones are things they picked up from their parents at home.
    Just recently in the Agege area of Lagos State Nigeria, two elderly women said to be grannies openly fought in a crowded street over a 30years old tricycle rider whom they both claimed was their boyfriend, what a show of shame, if supposed mothers can fight openly over boyfriend what else are you expecting from their children and grandchildren? A society where some parents exhibits all manners of irresponsible behaviors can only produce irresponsible children, we must save our society now and it begins from the home front.
