LET'S PRAY FOR THE CHURCH ( PART 9)

When I hear stories of Pastors who are always in the habit of running from pillar to post on accounts that their lives are under attack by witches and wizards, I laugh and at the same time weep for the church of God, is it not shameful that ministers of God who ought to be terrors to the kingdom of darkness are now the ones running from them? Did you know that some so called ministers of God in a bid to avoid being killed by their perceived enemies now seeks for protection charms from Juju-men leaving some like us wondering if our God is no more in existence? Just recently, a young man demanded to know why the powers of God Almighty is not moving in the temple of today like it was in the old, he sighted several examples of clergies who practically demonstrated the powers of God in their lives while they were here, well, the answer I gave to him was simple and straightforward and I did so by also asking him some throwback questions such as, how spiritual is the church of today...

LET'S PRAY FOR THE CHURCH.(PART 8)

There's no doubt that the church here in Nigeria desperately needs prayers considering the many challenges therein, the church is seriously pleagued by all manners of crisis which in my opinion are all man made as Christ Jesus made it clear in the bible that he will build his church upon the rock and the gate of hell shall not prevail over it. Historically speaking, the early church both in the scriptures and here in Nigeria centred their works on love for one another and unity of purpose but today, the church can now be likened to an empire where the emperor battle to secure his or her territory. Many observers of our today's Churches are of the opinion that the real reason why Churches are springing up in every corners of the country is because every pastor who decides to break away from a church has just one thing in his or her mind and that thing is nothing but to set up an empire where he or she is only answerable to himself not to any one else and when they are s...

LET'S PRAY FOR THE CHURCH (PART 7)

Another disturbing issues in our today's Churches are claims by inside sources that pastors in a bid to remain relevant now fights their colleagues with diabolical powers,it is said that this pastors who do not in any way justify through their actions that they are called by God engage the services of witch doctors to out do themselves and this is shocking as the church ought to be a sacred ground were fuilty and unholy items should not be seen. What is however surprising to me and many others concerning believers is that the church of God here in Nigeria is full of dirty characters whose actions has lasted for a very long time without an̈y consequences or how can one describe the deployment of diabolical powers in the church of God by so called pastors and yet many of them are still out there singing and dancing on the altars without them being consumed, are we saying that the God of old is different from the God of today? Where is the God of Elijah? Let him answer...

LET'S PRAY FOR THE CHURCH (PART 6)

Currently in Nigeria,Churches regardless of the denominations are so politicised and divided along ethnic lines and this is rather unfortunate as Jehovah is the God of all creatures regardless of their ethnicity or race. Any insider virtually in all of our today's Churches can testify that politics is now being deployed on serious issues which ordinarily are spiritual in nature for example, promotions and appointments, it's no longer a secret that these all important spiritual exercise which ought to be guided by the leadership of the holy spirit are now being done based on ethnic considerations. Here in Nigeria, there are Churches where members from the ethnic groups different from that of the church overseers are not allowed to hold sensitive offices or posted to branches which they the church considers as juicy branches and this is sad as our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ along with his disciples never discriminated against any one, even though Apostle Paul was ne...

LET'S PRAY FOR THE CHURCH (PART 5)

Ordinarily, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and the Pentecostal Fellowship Of Nigeria (PFN) are the two major Christian bodies saddled with the spiritual task of uniting the church and presenting it as a family of the people of God that can speak in one voice particularly when attacked by not just unbelievers but by the agent of the state, however, these Christian bodies over the years can best be described as socio-political groups whose agendas has nothing to do with Christianity. Some years ago, I was in the office of a former chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Lagos island chapter to present one of my newly published books but to my greatest shock,he told me that he would only attend to me for just few minutes as he was in a hurry to catch up with the state Exco meeting at the secretariat where a huge sum of money donated by a certain politician was to be shared, can you imagine that?. Why on earth will an organisation set up to represen...

LET'S PRAY FOR THE CHURCH (PART 4)

Truth be told, one of the greatest challenges confronting the church of God here in Nigeria is that of biased doctrinal teachings and this is the reason why many church goers are ready to die in defence of their church doctrines but not in defence of the name of Christ Jesus the saviour of their souls, these unscriptual behaviour by supposed Christians are largely responsible for the many divisions and disunity in the body of Christ. Ordinarily the body of Christ ought to be one but the unpleasant behaviours of church overseers who are always pitching their flocks against Christians of other denominations whom they accuse of not following the scriptural standard but let me ask who is actually following the scriptural standard here in Nigerian churches and when did God appoint anyone a judge on doctrinal matters? If things must change, church overseers themselves must as a matter of urgency desist from the unnecessary confusion they create with their so called doctrine, they must b...

LET'S PRAY FOR THE CHURCH (Part 3).

Seriously speaking, the church as presently constituted cannot effectively fight the kingdom of darkness and this is because the church and it's leaders have completely surrendered to the dictate and control of agents of darkness whose wealths emaciates from the pit of hell, it's a known fact that the church now receives financial and material gift from people of questionable characters, as a matter of fact, it's no longer a secret that many of our today's churches are now being sponsored by Yahoo Yahoo plus criminals. It's laughable for anyone in his or her right senses to expect that the church whose leaders have been captured by the powers of satanic wealth would summon the courage and strength to prayerfully dislodge the forces of darkness in the church, how is that going to work? How on earth would anyone expect them to rise against the same people that are not just financing their churches but are also financing their lavish lifestyles? If they f...
